First Nine Weeks
Math Fun
Students were each given a mini bag of M & M candies. The candies were graphed and the data was analyzed. We had more brown M & M's than any other color
First Grade PJ Day
We had our first "Wear your pajamas to school" day! Students enjoyed a day of reading and relaxation!
Station Fun
A'Jai'Lyn and Ladachia enjoy the Buddy Reading Station! The big glasses sure do make reading fun!
Posters
Students worked in cooperative groups to make ABC posters that now decorate the classroom and hallway.
Podcasting
Students use GarageBand to create podcasts that are then transferred onto iPod Shuffles for use during Station work. The students are working hard to develop a weekly podcast about their learning experiences.
Celebrate Writing
In order to celebrate the fantastic scores our school received on the state and county writing tests last year, each class received a GIANT cookie and icing to write with. We all wrote our names and then we enjoyed EATING the cookie!
